THERE was a good attendance for this year’s Trevalga Fete.
During the morning of the fete there was heavy rain and up to 3.30pm in the afternoon the organisers were not sure if the fete would go ahead. Luckily the sun came out and the wind dried the ground very quickly.
Jill Findlay opened the fete at 7pm. A cheque for £200 was presented to Jane Sleeman, chairman of the Top Town Memory Cafe, Camelford, who collected it on their behalf.
The Camelford Town Band played as usual during the evening and the field was full of various attractions that could be enjoyed by those who turned up. As usual the barbecue was very popular and Sharon Pethick was in charge of the cooking.
The raffle was well supported and raised £300. An enjoyable evening for those who kindly supported the annual Trevalga Fete.
